Maniucha & Ksawery is a duo that in it's own way combines jazz improvisation with dying-off traditional songs from Polesie (Polissya) region in Ukraine. In their compositions they evoke spring songs, harvest songs, wedding songs, love songs, beggars songs, Christmas carols, lullabies and put them all together into stories mapping the cycles of nature and human life.
